PARISH NOTICES

SUNDAY

PALM SUNDAY

Masses at: 6.00 a.m. 7.00 a.m. 8.00 a.m.

At 9.15 a.m. Near the chapel of St. Lucy blessing of the Palm and Olive branches – then a solemn procession to the Parish Church followed by a High Mass

TUESDAY

10.00 a.m. At the parish church – Mass for the Sick and the Elderly during which the Sacrament of Extreme Unction will be administered.

At the parish church at 7.30 p.m. the Choir Iubilate Deo will execute the Via Crucis by Franz Liszt; a slide show of the Passion of Our Lord will also be shown.  Everyone is urged to attend.

The 6.30 p.m. Mass will take place at the Annexe Media Room.

WEDNESDAY

8.00 p.m. At the Sanctuary of the Divine Mercy the Victory Filarmonic Society will perform an Accademy of Music with Reflections on the Via Crucis.  Everyone is invited to attend.

THURSDAY

The day dedicated to the Priesthood and the Holy Eucharist

There will be no Masses in the morning

6.30m p.m. Solemn Concelebrated Mass commemorating the Last Supper of Christ, during which the Holy Eucharist will be transposed to the Altar of  Repose followed by Visits and Adoration of the Eurcharist at the Alter of Repose.

All night vigil will be held at the Divine Mercy Sanctuary. 

FRIDAY

Solemnity of Good Friday. A day of Fasting and Abstinance from meat.

6.30 a.m., and 7.30 a.m. Visits and Adoration of the Eucharist at the Altar of Repose.

8.30 a.m. Sung Salms will be held, followed by

Reflections on the Passion of Our Lord for children

10.45 a.m. Last visits to the Holy Sepulchre.

3.00 pm.m Solemn commemoration of the Passion and Death of Our Lord with the adoration of the Cross.

5.30 p.m. Good Friday Procession

Seating is available on the parish parvis – a donation will be appreciated.

SATURDAY

8.00 p.m. Celebration of Easter Eve and administration of the Sacrament of Baptism

SUNDAY

Solemnity of the Resurrection of Our Lord

Masses will be at 6.00 a.m., 7.00 a.m.,

8.30 a.m. Solemn Easter High Mass, followed by a Procession with the statue of the Risen Christ

11.00 a.m. another Mass at the end of which the procession will enter the parish church.

NOTES

We appreciate if we receive white flowers for the Altar of Repose by Wednesday morning.

Social Assistance Segretariat will place boxes for donations to the poor at the entrances of the parish church. We urge you to be generous.
